Born from the unconditional love I have for my animals, as well as the sorrow left by their absence, these memorial keepsakes hold a very special place in my heart.
For many years now, my mother and I have taken in elderly, sick, abused, or disabled animals in order to offer them all the love and gentleness they deserve. But loving these beings so deeply also means, at times all too often, facing the pain of their departure.
It is from this grief, but also from the need to preserve their presence in a delicate and timeless way, while softening the emptiness they leave behind, that the desire to create these memorial keepsawas born.
For even though our beloved companions may one day leave our arms, they never leave our hearts, and I am here to help you weave your memories so that their absence may become a presence...
Weaving memory so that absence becomes presence…
Inspired by Victorian mourning jewellery, these memorial keepsakes honour the memory of your departed companions and transform their absence into a delicate and timeless presence.
Entrusting La Rosamore with the ashes and/or fur of your beloved companion, or even a few dried petals from the flowers that accompanied them on their final journey, allows me, as a weaver of memory, to transform them into a poetic keepsake, where fragments of the one you loved so deeply are nestled within the fabrics.

Crafted upon a delicately padded base of pale golden taffeta, this Memorial Keepsake features at its centre a photograph of your beloved companion, carefully edited in sepia tones before being printed onto duchess satin, creating a gently raised textile portrait.
Finished with antique gold lurex piping, black satin binding and a delicate bow adorning its base, the Memorial Keepsake conceals within a black lace pocket, where ashes and other cherished keepsakes are preserved with the utmost care.
Set within a black frame, it will find its natural place displayed on a piece of furniture or hung on the wall.
HOW TO ORDER YOUR MEMORIAL KEEPSAKE
first contact
The first step is simply to contact me, specifying whether you would like a memorial frame containing the ashes of your beloved companion, along with any other elements you wish to include, or whether you would prefer a frame without ashes or personal inclusions, apart from the textile portrait itself.
sending the elements
• If you wish to include ashes or any other keepsake elements
You will simply need to send me a photograph of your animal by e-mail, specifying their name and ensuring that the image is of good quality and large enough to allow for a clear print (appropriate size and resolution).
The photograph will then be carefully reworked by me to give it an antique sepia-toned appearance before being printed onto luxurious duchess satin.
I will then send you a shipping form by e-mail, which will need to be completed and placed inside a secure envelope along with your precious keepsake elements, each carefully sealed in an individual airtight sachet.
• Ashes → a maximum of one tablespoon
• Fur → a small lock of hair
• Dried flowers → 1 to 2 petals
(feathers, claws, scales, horsehair, etc., are also accepted)
It is always better to send slightly more rather than too little; any excess will naturally be returned to you.

You will simply need to send me a photograph of your animal by e-mail, specifying their name.
processing time
Once your parcel has been received and its safe arrival confirmed by e-mail, your memorial keepsake will be carefully handcrafted by me. This process requires approximately 3 to 4 weeks, depending on my current workload.
If you require a priority commission or need the piece completed for a specific date, please feel free to let me know. Your order will then be given priority, reducing the creation time to approximately one week.
